Culturally Bound and Spiral H. invite you to an exclusive private screening of Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds, a film by Raynald Leconte.
Amazing Grace: YorubaWorlds chronicles the journey of Black excellence and the essence of Yoruba culture across continents, representing the global African diaspora.
This screening will be held at the African Union House.The African Union recognizes the African diaspora as its sixth region, acknowledging the significant political, economic, and cultural contributions of people of African descent living outside the continent.
This private screening is also held in honor of Juneteenth, a federal holiday that commemorates the liberation of the last enslaved Africans in Texas under the Emancipation Proclamation on June 19, 1865.
A cocktail reception will follow the event.
